Viktor Rusev has been a sales representative of Studio New Era for 2 years. He has been working in QSAR modeling for over 5+ years as a Full-Stack Programmer.

He graduated from Mathematics High School and has a BSc in Chemical Engineering as a First Class Honours student.

He was a freelance web designer for a year where he developed his interest in being part of different businesses, building business relationships and contacts.

On top of that, he's handsome, look at him.

1. How would you describe your professional role in the studio in one sentence?

My roles sometimes overlap, but mainly I try to help with optimizing the sales process as well as... making sales.

2. What inspired you to choose a career in sales?

Feeling that in doing so I will be making a small contribution to various businesses - whether just starting out or already operational.

3. What is your superpower (skill) that you bring to the team?

I know how to organize efforts - both my own and other people's - in one direction. And I'm also funny (and humble) - humor is a superpower that everyone needs from time to time.

4. Which project or achievement are you most proud of?

The answer here will always be "With the one I'm working on now".

5. What is your approach to solving challenging problems?

As it is, and for solving unchallenging ones - just do it until I'm done.

Personal handwriting and values

6. What motivates you the most in your work?

Good results and satisfied customers.

7. If you had to describe the working atmosphere in the team in three words, what would they be?

Innovative, dynamic, orderly chaos (that's counting it for one word).

8. What inspires you outside of work and how does this reflect in your profession?

People. Some motivate me, others I ignore.

9. Is there a book, quote or principle that you follow in your work?

"We have a pair of eyes and ears, but only one mouth. So let us listen and observe twice as much as we speak."

10. What do you think makes a project really successful?

It depends from whose point of view it was successful - for the designer it may have been an interesting module to reuse in the future, for the seller - a positive result of long and difficult negotiations, for the manager - the presence of good communication and organization... But in general, if the client is happy to recommend our services, I think the project was successful for everyone involved in it in one way or another.

The human side

11. How do you spend your free time - something that helps you "reboot"?

This thing is definitely the gym. There I can focus only on the workout and not think (constantly) about work.

12. If you could learn a new professional skill in a day, what would it be?

Maybe to speak freely in front of a larger audience - whether it's a live one or on camera.

13. What do you want customers and partners to associate your name with?

Trust and respect. It is enough for me.

14. What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in your professional career?

Don't take anything too seriously, especially yourself. Just work and enjoy the process.

15. What would you say to someone just starting out in our industry?

Prepare to hear "no" a lot, and even more often no answer...

And also possibly an AI to replace you in a few years.

But above all, be a good person - people buy from people.

Everything else will fall into place, whichever industry you develop in.
